It can feel like a big step to come for counselling.  Perhaps you have suffered in silence for many years, or perhaps something difficult has happened in your life recently.  Talking to someone who is not directly involved is freeing and unburdening.  It can be life-changing.

There are many reasons why people come to work with me.  Some recent examples include:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • low self-esteem

  • childhood abuse

  • bereavement

  • self-harm

  • job loss

  • bullying

  • addiction, post-rehab

  • divorce

  • suicidal feelings

  • wanting to stop repeating the same unhealthy patterns.

I work face-to-face from home in Ducklington, near Witney in Oxfordshire, in a quiet and confidential setting with plenty of parking.

The most effective aspect of therapy is the relationship that you have with your counsellor or psychotherapist.  It is important to choose a therapist that feels like someone you want to work with.  Please phone or email me to find out more about the way that I work, or just to see if I seem like the right therapist for you.  Click on Contact a the top of this page for information on how to get in touch.
